3. What are cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. In addition, we may use other technologies such as local storage, session storage, tracking pixels, web beacons, URL parameters, device identifiers, browser fingerprinting, server-side tracking, tag management systems, embedded content, social media plug-ins, conversion APIs, email tracking and chat or scheduling widgets. The same consent rules apply to all these technologies when information is stored on or read from your device.
4. Which categories we use
Strictly necessary
Technologies for website security, load balancing, form security, fraud prevention, session management, language preference (explicitly requested), storing your cookie choice and essential website functions. These cannot be disabled.
Preferences (functional)
Non-essential user preferences and interface settings. Consent is required for placing these cookies.
Analytics
Visitor counts, page views, traffic source, devices, technical performance, form interaction and conversion measurement. We use Google Analytics with anonymised IP addresses. Consent is required.
Marketing & tracking
Ad personalisation, remarketing, cross-site tracking, campaign measurement, audience building, profiling, social media tracking and conversion attribution. Always off by default — only after consent.
5. Why these technologies are used
- Make the website and forms function correctly (necessary).
- Remember your language preference (necessary, explicitly requested).
- Store your cookie choice (necessary).
- Understand how visitors use the website (analytics, after consent).
- Measure website performance and reliability (analytics, after consent).

- Show relevant ads and measure campaigns (marketing, after consent).
- Build audiences for remarketing (marketing, after consent).
6. Detailed cookie and tracker table
The table below contains the technologies currently configured or demonstrably present. Technologies marked [TECHNICAL REVIEW] must still be verified with an actual cookie scan. The retention period listed may refer to the lifetime on your device, the retention on our servers or at the third-party vendor — these are not necessarily the same.

CRM forms, chat widgets, scheduling and tracking via GoHighLevel are only loaded after consent has been given for the relevant category. Application and contact forms function without marketing cookies.
7. Third-party vendors
We may use the following categories of third-party vendors. Specific vendors and configurations must still be technically verified:
- Website hosting
- Form processing / CRM (GoHighLevel)
- Analytics (Google Analytics)
- Email and communication services
- Cloud storage
- Scheduling and video calls
- Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) — only after consent
- Advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads) — only after consent
8. Personal data and legal bases
Some cookies and similar technologies process personal data. The legal basis for placing non-necessary technologies is consent. The legal basis for further processing of the collected data may differ:
- Necessary technologies: storage or access is necessary for an explicitly requested function.
- Analytics: consent for placement; further processing based on consent.
- Marketing: consent for both placement and further processing.
Consent for cookies is not the same as consent for a newsletter, talent pool or marketing email. An application is not made dependent on optional cookie consent.
9. International data transfers
Some third-party vendors process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), for example in the United States. Per vendor it must be established:
- In which country the vendor is established and where data is stored.
- Whether data leaves the EEA.
- Which safeguard is used (adequacy decision, SCCs, additional measures).
- How visitors can request information about relevant safeguards.
For all US-based vendors, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework applies, supplemented by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where necessary. Visitors can request a copy of relevant safeguards via privacy@worktalentpool.com.
10. Retention periods
The retention period of a cookie on your device may differ from the retention of data on Work TalentPool's servers or at the third-party vendor. Where no concrete period is known, [RETENTION PERIOD TO BE SET] is shown.
- Necessary cookies: 1 year (language) or session (forms).
- Consent storage: 12 months on device.
- Analytics: maximum 14 months (Google Analytics).
- Marketing: 90 days on device.
- Server logs: 30 days.
11. Giving, refusing and withdrawing consent
On your first visit you see a cookie banner with three equivalent actions: "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Manage preferences". Refusing is just as easy as accepting.
- Consent is free, specific, informed and unambiguous — based on an active action.
- No pre-ticked boxes, no implied consent, no consent by scrolling.
- Consent can be given or refused per category.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
- Withdrawal is just as easy as accepting.
- Optional scripts are not reloaded after withdrawal.
- Withdrawal does not automatically invalidate earlier lawful processing.
- Refusing optional cookies does not block an application, contact form or website access.
12. Browser settings
You can also manage or delete cookies via your browser settings. Please note that disabling necessary cookies may affect the functioning of the website. Browser settings are not the only way to withdraw consent — also use the "Cookie settings" link on our website.
13. External websites and embedded services
Our website may contain links to external websites and embedded services such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, video calling software and social media. These third parties have their own cookie policies. Work TalentPool is not automatically responsible for the cookies these parties place independently.
14. Changes to this cookie policy
- We update this policy when new vendors, purposes or technologies are added.
- New optional purposes may require renewed consent.
- Material changes are communicated via the website.
- The latest version is always on the website. Old versions are archived.
- A new technical cookie scan is required when changing vendors, CRM, analytics, marketing tools, widgets or campaigns.
